Tier-1 extension >> Help Needed

Hi,

I have a valid Tier-1 visa due to expire in Feb 2013. I have not been in the UK since Mar 2012. I also work for an umbrella company now and get my salary deposited in HSBC Jersey (although the account and the salary slip is still in GBP).

My questions are:
a. Can I apply for an extension?
b. If yes, do I need to move back to the UK for sometime (3 months presumably)?
c. Do I need to hire a professional visa services company to handle my case?
d. What are the things I should do/look out for to make sure I do get the extension?

Find a good solicitor who knows the rules inside out.

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. That was what I was thinking would be a good option.

Anyone having any recommendations on solicitors that can be hired for this? Money is not a problem but I would be looking for a real experienced team capable of pushing it through.
