Allocation of Unrestricted CoS

Allocation of Unrestricted CoS

Hi,

I am stuck in a situation and I would appreciate if someone can let me a helping hand.

I am currently on Tier 2 (General) visa... I have been offered a job but the company does not have the certificate limit... not sure whether they checked it on their sponsorship management system (SMS) as they are sponsoring some one for the first time.

To my understanding I would need an unrestricted CoS (as I am already in UK) and these CoS are granted to a company only once in a financial year. What happens in case the company does not have a CoS and wants to progress with it?

The last paragraph on the link below reads about the allocation of unrestricted CoS

The user manual on the below link does not read anything about the limit

Does this mean that the company wont get the limit until the next financial year and I cannot accept the job offer? Isn't there any way around it?

Aren't the companies free to create and allocate an unresctricted CoS from the SMS?

Also, what happens in case the company only had one CoS limit and they used it up, can't they get another one before the next financial year?

Any help on this matter will be highly appreciated.
