Tier 2 Restricted COS from Tier 4 General.

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I have got few questions if somebody can help that would be great.

a) I am on a Tier4 general category and my current visa expires on Feb, 2014. However, I have been working with a company for last 6 months and they have decided to sponsor me on Tier 2. I have been said that since I have not completed my course of study yet, I will have to go back home and apply on a restricted COS. Is that true?

b) If it is the case and my Tier 2 application becomes unsuccessful back home will my existing Tier 4 get cancelled too?


c) What are the percentage of success on Tier 2 on a Restricted COS under the turmoil of this current immigration situation?


d) Can my company be invigilated by UKBA before assigning a COS as my Employer had employed somebody before on a Tier 2 but he has done a runner and my company still has not cancelled his COS yet.

Please advise.
