Hi All,

I am currently on a PSW visa which will run out in March. I have a same sex partner of 3 years who is in the Philippines. I would like her to come and visit me in the UK for 1 month in december to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary together.
I will be sponsoring her..

My question is:

1.) Is £2k enough to show as my savings? I will also show my 6 months pay slip-I work as a Biology Lecturer at College and renting a place.

2.) My girlfriend works for their family business. What ties to the Philippines can she show to prove that she will be coming back?

Please help me as it is her first time to travel out of Philippines.

Hi,

My girlfriend needs to prove that she has ties to the philippines for her to come back.

She works for the family business and her family is in the philippines. What evidence can we provide that she will be coming back to the philippines?

I guess the most prudent thing would be for you to go to India, marry her and apply for the H-4 visa. As regards you inviting her over here on a visitor visa, to be brutally honest, is a disaster waiting to happen.and best of luck to you from me
