Help with ILR... Showing Maintance Fund

Post by abbadabba » Sun Sep 09, 2012 9:26 pm

Hello Guys,

I need bit of guidance, I am in process of applying for ILR. Currently on Spouse Visa after marrying my British Wife.

We have all document but only issue is My Wife is full time carer of my Mother in law so she could not work and get carer allowance.

And just 2 weeks back i was made redundant from my last job. I already have offer for next job but it starting in October so currently i am considered with "not working category" and so as my wife.

We don't have any issue with money as consistently I had around 1500 in my bank account for last 2 years, we have savings account which had around 5000-7000 in last 2 years plus we don't have to pay any mortgage as we stay in a mortgage free house my wife inherited from her uncle. So we just need to pay bills and food.

Will this will be a problem to consider to show of maintenance fund? I am really worried.

In your case, I think you should read the SetM Form and accompanying guidance for finance/document requirements.

UKBA Link
Form ; http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... 420091.pdf

Guide: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... 420091.pdf

Also, once you begin to work your way through SetM form, if you come across any specific question/section that you are not clear about, members of this forum would be able to give your more accurate help.

I hope this helps.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.
