Work Permit Holder - Applying for PR - Help Required.

Post by disdil4u » Mon Sep 10, 2012 8:01 pm

Hi All

I am here for help/advice for my friend who is due to apply for PR on basis of old work permit holder 5 years rules.
He worked for X company for under 3 years and it then sold to Y company 2 years back.
Now when X company has applied for work permit they applied for 40 hours per week contract basis but when it sold to Y company they have 37.5 hours instead of 40 hours.
When Y company requested technical change to home office for change of employer details, they have not requested change of working hours details. But I am not sure whether its needed or not ?

Now my friend annual salary is just over SOC Code Planning & Control Engineer as per 37.5 hours but it will be less for 40 hours.

What will be the best option for my friend in this situation to apply for PR?

Any advice/help will be really helpful in this difficult situation.

Thank You.
