Hi,
I have a fully funded phd position at a uk university in england. I got my visa and will start my phd this october. my husband applied for a tier 4 dependant visa and his visa was refused. the reason for this:we got married on 30th of april, 2012 and only evidence we provided a marriage certificate. According to their decision this certificate only does not confirm that we are genuinely involved in a subsisting relationship. it is also stated that we provided nothing that serves to confirm we maintain any regular contact , have spent any time together apart from the day of our marriage.
we have been together for 7 years. appealing takes more than 3 months so we will apply for his visa again. WE have photos together (even we have tattoos our names on our shoulders and this can be clearly seen in different photos)+email printouts from different years+last 2 months phone details. Do you think that these are enough to get a visa?????
I appreciate your help regarding this!
