In the subject line - what is appropriate body for bank of Baroda in India.

Is it state bank of India or Reserve bank of India or Scheduled bank of India.

If RBI wasn't the appropriate body for BoB, their name and address wouldn't have been there in the list of nationalised banks on RBI's website.

It's also in the FSA list. Check this link: http://www.fsa.gov.uk/register/firmBasi ... ?sid=58535

I am from Andhra Pradesh , India. I am planning to keep the funds in

Jublihills branch of Bank of Baroda, Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh, India.

So still irrespective of location, this bank is regulated by reserve bank of India I think. Please let me know your thoughts.

Is State bank of India not regulating body for Bank of Baroda,Andhra Pradesh,India.

What is the difference between local regulating body and regulating body.

Regardless of which branch you have an account in, Bank of Baroda is regulated by Reserve Bank of India. I have provided the proof already.

You don't have to worry about the regulatory body details anyway. Bank of Baroda is regulated by the FSA in the UK. Here is the proof: http://www.bankofbarodauk.com/retail-ba ... on-scheme/

And the Entrepreneur Visa Policy Guidance clearly states "67. Money held in an overseas account but in a financial institution that is regulated by the FSA will satisfy this requirement.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... dance1.pdf

So you really don't have to worry about it.

Hi rajm2012,

Thanks a lot for your reply. But if you see in policy guidence default template,

bank has to mention that Money is available for investment.

bank manager is saying - he can not give the letter saying money is available for investment. Hope this will not leads to my visa refusal please confirm.

Also could you please tell me who are eligible to give these letters in the Bank.

Could you please let me know do we need to mention the proof of funds in the bank letter.

Could you please give details on English language points. I am able to get 10 points through uk ba points based calculator. Is this Ok.

No bank manager will write the investment thing for you. As long as the bank letter says the money is available to you, it should be fine.

Bank manager should be eligible to issue this letter.

What do you mean by "do we need to mention the proof of funds?"??

About the English language points, did you study in the UK? If you did an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree in the UK, all you need to do is to send your university qualifications. That should satisfy the English language requirement.

I mean do we also need to mention Source of funds 200k in bank letter.

I have completed batchlers's degree from India,JNTU university. I am able to get the points using UK ba points based calc. Hope this does not create issue for my English level requirement. Event I got letter from UK Naric saying I meet c1 level of English.

Once I get letter from Bank, I am planning to remove the total funds from Bank. Does this create issue while deciding my Visa --> if yes or no , please give more details. (please provide me with proof of link). Please help me.

I'm not sure if you have to mention the source of funds.

I'm not sure of your English language requirements either. I think it will be better if you give your IELTS test and achieve the results that they require.

I think you should keep the funds in your account until you get your visa. But many people remove the funds soon after applying for visa. I don't know if it works or not but if I were you, I wouldn't take a chance.
