4 months visa has left, Is it safe to travel?

Post by GuideMe125 » Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:45 pm

I am on post study work visa and working as a Intern in IT sector. I am planning 2 go to India for 2 weeks. Is it safe to travel when only 4 months visa has left.
If I decided to travel then what documents should I keep with me.

I have booked air-tikit but now confused when I see below conditions in Tier 2 & tier 5 policy guidance

Also want to know the same rules applies to Tier 1 PSW??

518. If a Tier 2 or Tier 5 migrant does not have entry clearance or
has been granted leave
to remain in the UK for six months or less, their leave will lapse if
they leave the Common
Travel Area. This means they will no longer have valid leave to enter
the UK so if they want
to return, they must apply again.
(Tier 2 and 5 Sponsor Guidance - Version 06/12 Page 79 of 108)

519. The Common Travel Area is the UK, Republic of Ireland, the Isle
of Man and the Channel
Islands. There is one exception to this rule which applies only to
certain non-visa nationals

Help me friends, Looking for your valuable replies
Many Thanks

It only applies if the grant of leave was for 6 months or less not in you have less than 6 months remaining of a two year visa.
