Citizenship application requirement Q

Hi all. I will apply for irish citizenship soon but i heard that if the applicant is
out of ireland prior to the application they don't accept application. I have already lived here 4 years its my 5th year. Can someone tell me that can fly home for 5 weeks on holiday before i apply for citizenship. Is this going to be bad effect on my application? Write ur comments plz Thanks
