duration of stay

i have visa entry clearance from 14 aug 12 to 13 feb 13 as academic visitor. i arrived in the uk on 8 sept 12. does this mean i have to leave on or before 13th feb or can i stay for 6 months until march? thanks for info

It is a good idea to leave by or on the date indicated on your passport.

You must leave UK before 00:00hours 14-Feb-13 .... unless you wish to "overstay".

thanks for info. i have return ticket for 12th feb ... that assures me coz my supervisor wanted me to stay for 6 months
