Documents Time-Scale

Post by eazygeezr » Mon Sep 17, 2012 2:49 pm

Hiya,
I am in need of advice.
My Wife is Ghanaian, we recently married in Ghana & have been together as a couple for 2 years prior to our marriage as she used to come to England on 6mthly visitor visa's.

I spent 1 month in Ghana before returning to the UK.
we were applying online for her spouse visa application before seeing that she needed to do the 'ielts' English test.
the next available date was the following month.

she has since received her certificate for passing the test but all of the supporting documents we took to Ghana are now roughly 2 months as in bank statements, payslips etc... but the documents go back 1 year.

can we still apply with this documents or do i need to request more upto date statements from my bank & payslips etc as this will delay things even further.

any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have a gut feeling to apply now but my wife is unsure as there are no exact guidelines on how upto date the paperwork needs to be.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need financial statements/pay slips that are no more than 1 month old.
