switching from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 General immigration cate

Hi,

I currently have PSW issued in Feb 2011 valid until Feb 2013. I want to switch to the Tier2 general immigration category but they only people with NQP 6 are eligible to apply in this category. My job level (sales rep) falls in NQP 3 and my company is willing to sponsor me. I have been in the current role for more than a year now. I just wanted to know how do I get around this and get my visa extended? Please let me now if you have any suggestions. You help is very much appreciated.
