Evidence of financial requirement for FLR(M) application

Post by Debbie50 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 9:58 pm

Hello.

I am in the process of preparing my FLR(M) application. This is the first time I have applied in this category (I current hold a Tier 1 General), and hence the new financial requirement will apply.

I had planned to show proof of the £18,600 income level by referring to my husband's salaried employment. However, I got a nasty shock today when I looked at the evidence required (as outlined in IDI FM1.7) - 4 separate pieces are required, all compulsory. One of which is a signed contract of employment. My husband commenced work at his current employer 5 years ago and does not have this - said he never received one, just an email offer from memory.

I am just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem, and what (if anything) they did to get around it? Or, even better, maybe I have just mis-read the document ....

Thanks everyone.
