Tier 2 general - changing employment

Post by Newbee11 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:44 pm

I have a tier 2 general visa sponsored by my employer and is valid till 2015.
This permit was issued in February 2012. I would like to find out if I can change employment.

The information available is quite confusing and i have heard through friends that it is possible to switch.

If it means that I have to go through the entire process again then it does not really help me.

I have a possible new job but not sure about the required formalities.
Could someone please give me some insights on this topic.

Apologies if this topic has already been posted

Thanks

You have to go through the entire tier 2 process again.

Greenie,
I posted a similar topic a few days back (http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=112919). I believe that some of the documentation may not be needed again, but I'm not quite sure. Can you confirm that?
Otherwise, I understand that everything else like sponsorship, RLMT, etc. are needed again.
