ILR application. Problem in BRP

Post by apra » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:48 pm

Hi All,
I am a new member in this group. I am going to apply for my ILR next month 28 days before I complete my 5 yrs in this country. Recently while going through the documents for me and my two dependents (my wife and son) I realized that the place of birth mentioned on my sons biometric card is different from what it is mentioned in his passport.
I am confused now whether I should apply for a new biometric card for him first and wait for that to come before applying for ILR or apply for ILR and mention the situation in the covering letter as they anyways have to issue new biometric cards for all of us.
Any suggestions/experience/comments would be appreciated.

When does your and your son's current leave due to expire?
When do you intend to apply for settlement?

Personal opinion -

Get the error corrected (can be time consuming and may need you to pay for the rectification) and defer your application until then.
See What must I do when I receive my biometric residence permit?
