My timeline so far,
SET(O) application posted 20.04.2012
Acknowledgement 27.04.2012
Biometric Letter came with mistakes 15.06.2012
Biometric Letter with rectifications 02.07.2012
Biometric done same day i.e. 02.07.2012

Everything else........waiting.

3 April SET (O) application posted
4 April application received at UK BA
Can't recall when the payment was deducted and I received the acknowledgment letter
25 June received biometrics letter dated 14 June
25 June completed biometrics
4 October received approval letter and documents
Still waiting for my BRP


My application is slightly complicated as I was sent overseas for work for 6 months and so I am well over the 180 days. However I was still paid in the UK and paid UK tax during this time.

Finally...finally.....my documents have arrived today.....altogether including the BRPs.

My final timeline is
SET(O) application posted 20.04.2012
Acknowledgement 27.04.2012
Biometric Letter came with mistakes 15.06.2012
Biometric Letter with rectifications 02.07.2012
Biometric done same day i.e. 02.07.2012
All documents received 19.09.2012 BRPs stamped as 17.09.2012

So, about 22weeks of painful wait is finally over.

A bit more info to my applications is, my 5year visa was expiring 3months + a few days before the actual completion of my 5year stay in this country and I had to apply before the expiry.

Good luck to all you guys waiting and I am sure this wait will be over soon.

i got my set(O) on the 19th of september

I first sent off my application on April 20th.

now I'm just awaiting the Biometrics card thing
