How to book in person ILR appointment?

How to book in person ILR appointment?

Hi,
Can someone please help by telling what is the procedure to book in person appointment for ILR?
Do I need to post the form first and then book the appointment online?
Do I need some Home Office reference number before I can book the in person appointment ?
Can I just book it via phone? If yes then please share the telephone number. I never had my biometrics done before.

Looking forward for some replies

No, you submit the form at the PEO on the day of your appointment.
