Round trip or one way ticket

Hello Everyone,

I am travelling to Germany tomorrow to start my work, I already have a national Visa type D (Germany) issued on my passport.

My question is, I already booked a one way ticket as my work contract is 2 years. However, would be the German authorities on boarders awaiting a round trip ticket or this is a trivial matter?
