Naturalisation

Post by pradiptr » Fri Sep 21, 2012 2:04 pm

Me and my wife have the indefinite leave to remain in the UK for more than a year. I originally came from Nepal and got my indefinite leave to remain in July 2011.
My wife joined me in March 2009 as a dependent visa and got indefinite in July 2011 along with me.
I have been in the UK for more than 7 years and therefore I have no problem applying for Naturalisation. However my wife has been here only three and half years and
I am not very clear whether she is eligible to apply with me.

The reason for being unclear is the requirements indicate that only british citizen spouse who have been here for three years can apply.

Please also note that we have fulfilled all other criteria and requirements.

Would anyone be able to guide us whether my wife is eligible to apply?
If yes can we both apply together? Please help.
