Peo appointments - Tier 1 extension

Post by vijar » Fri Sep 21, 2012 10:33 pm

Hi All,

I got separate PEO appointments for myself(main applicant) and my wife(dependent). Is there any problem that I should be aware of in applying like this?

Thanks,

This will be treated as two separate applications (i.e. - main migrant and dependant applying separately, rather than the two applying at the same time (together)). If applying separately is the intention, it is fine.

IMHO ....

Thanks Sushdmehta for quick reply.

I wanted to apply together but inspite of trying for many days did not get a combined appointment.

Is separate extension application by main and dependent valid or might have any problem now or in future?

Thanks,

Other than a small difference in the application fees that you'll end up paying / saving, it doesn't matter whether the applications are made at the same time or separately.

If my calculations are right, you'll end up saving 34 quids in fees when applying separately at the PEO! :)

Thanks again.

When does my wife's existing Tier 1 visa gets invalidated? On the day I get my extension or the day she gets the extension?

Many thanks,
