GAP of 8 days in Continuous 5 yrs (HSMP + Tier 1)

Post by gm2012 » Fri Sep 21, 2012 10:56 pm

Hi Everyone,

I came to UK on HSMP on 14.10.2007.
HSMP expired on 5.09.2009.
Made Tier 1 Application on 5.09.2009 via post.
On 21.09.2009, I withdrew application as I forgot to keep a document.
Received all the documents from Home Office on 26.09.2009 with a cover letter dated 24.09.2009 acknowledging the withdrawl, was also advised I could place a new one.
Made Fresh Tier 1 on 29.09.2009 on same day service and it was granted.
I have extended my tier 1 until 29.09.2014 now.
I would like to apply for ILR in October 2012, but I have a gap of 8 days between HSMP and Tier 1 ( 21.09.2009 to 28.09.2009)
I have heard similar stories in this forum where people hired a solicitor and got their ILR stamped.
I was wondering if someone could suggest me a solicitor and course of action.
Thanks in advance
GM
