Pregnant partner and international student

Post by CUZZI RANNO » Sat Sep 22, 2012 6:41 pm

Hi guys,
I need an advice on a complicated situation i've found myself. I've been seeing a Scottish woman lately and although we're not dating, she's become pregnant for me. I'm however on a student visa which expires in january and we're both concerned about having a baby which was unplanned, while i may be required to leave if i don't get a job before my visa expires. Abortion is something which is not so right and we're bit confused on what to do now.Does anyone know what's best to do in this situation if i want to stay to see the unborn child? Thanks

If there is a live birth, there are opportunities to apply for leave on that basis. Until then, you are a student migrant with who has to continue living in line with the conditions of your current leave.

June is 9 months away. How many weeks pregnant is she? If you are not in a relationship with this girl then there is no visa you can apply for (other than a work or further student visa) until the baby is born.

June? It appears to be a very long pregnancy!

Let me give it a try.

UKBA will not approve any application of extension submitted in January with the reason of extension being that your British partner is pregnant, with delivery due in 6 months time.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
