Inchallah for all of us the worst thing that they don't even have a phone number that we can get in touch with uk border to check about the application apart from the enquiry e-mail I don't mind waiting 16 weeks as long we're heading in the right direction inchallah than you realise was it worth to wait or just time wasting inchallah good direction. 2end week when my wife applied I received a call from uk border in my work place asking about me asking me my date of birth and the place of brith well 10 years in same company

Hi

You no longer have to be over 21 at the time of marriage to be eligible for a UK Spouse VISA, that ruling has been removed from the immigration rules. So as long as you can legally get married in your home country (Algeria) at the time when both of you are 18 or above, you would be eligible as per the age rules of the UK Spouse VISA.

Hope this helps.
Feb 2012 - Spouse Visa - New Delhi
Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised
