FLR(M) app, Current: Std visa exp oct CAN I WORK AFTER OCT

Im currently on a student visa that allows me to work 20hrs term time and full time on hols. My visa expires on 27th Oct but i have an application pending with the UKBA (FLR (M)).

Can I cont to work part time (term time) and full time during hols pending when the UKBA decides on my application?

My application has been with them since 2nd July and no progress so far.

I will not want to go against the UKBA rules on work and my visa terms but i dont really know if im still under the student rule when d visa expires in oct or im just a loner and cant do nothing once the visa expires.
