Can I do a job while also running my business?

Can someone please advise me whether it is possible to continue with my job once i am on entrepreneur visa.

No. You may only work in the business you have joined or created.

Conditions of stay
32. Permission to stay under this route will be subject to the following conditions:
a) no recourse to public funds (which means you will not be able to claim most benefits paid by the state);
b) registration with the police, if this is required by paragraph 326 of the Immigration Rules;
c) no employment other than working for the business or businesses that you have established, joined or taken over; and
d) No employment as a professional sportsperson (including as a sports coach).

So you can only work for your own business and not for someone else.

In theory, you should be able to work as a contractor? Can someone please confirm?

That should be fine as technically they will be hiring the company.
