I am just reading up on stuff that is needed in the application for eea4 for my husband, we are not applying yet but i need to make sure we keep the right documents for when we apply

i have to show i have excerised my treaty right for last 5 years... now im on maternity leave and after will not be going back to the same job will be looking for something else just before my maternity leave is up

what i want to ask is when it comes to ur application and proving you have been excersing your rights but u have changed jobs a few times, how do u prove that, like i cant go back to my employer i worked for 4 years ago and ask for a letter to say i worked there, so how do u prove it

I believe your P60's will suffice in that regards. The important this is proof you were economically engaged.

If you don't have your P60s, you may be able to request a tax statement form the inland revenue to help your case.

i dont even have p60 and the job im talking about was only a job at 15 hrs per week were no contribitions were paid as i didnt earn enough, this is the job i was in when we applied for my hubbys eea2 so i know the job is suffient, but now that i dont work there im not sure what i can get to prove i was working for that period of time.

If you still work on April 5 the employer is required to give you a P60.

Don't you have any payslips anymore? Can you get a letter from your previous employer(s)?

Was your salary paid into your bank account perhaps?

thanks for the replys but we have decided that we are not going to bother with an eea4, we are going to apply for him to be a irish citizen before the residence card expires so no need for eea4 x

If he is an Irish citizen, then great. Job done.

(He may have qualified for PR on that basis himself if he's been Irish all along).

no im the irish citizen my husband is turkish but after he has lived here 3 years and we been married 3 years he can apply for irish citizenship based on his marriage to me, so that would be at start of 2014 he would be eligable, his residence card doesnt run out to end 2016 so instead of all hassle of pr he will apply for irish citizenship and get an irish passport, no more visas thank god xx
