Hello All,

I would like to understand when I am eligible to apply for British passport, appreciate your response
1. Indian passport holder, Stayed in UK for 2 years
2. Then stayed in another country for 2 years on work assignment with regular visits to UK.
3. Then back to UK, been a year now. I got my ILR. I was a dependant of Tier1 General and now my husband is on ILR too. We both received the ILR last month.
4. I am working in UK for an Indian company, deputed overseas.

My husband is in UK for 5 years with allowed absences, and he is eligible for British Citizenship next year after 12 months of ILR.

However my case is a bit complicated and would like to understand if anyone has an idea. Can I still work for Indian company when I apply for British Passport? and by when can I apply for the British passport? Please let me know.
