tax bill from HMRC

I am applying for the visa as a self employed person. I have received my unique tax reference number from the HMRC, but I have not received my national insurance bill yet. It is a quarterly bill, so does that mean i cannot apply for my visa until i receive the NI bill from HMRC? Is there anything I need to do to get it quicker? And can I set a direct debit before receiving the quarterly bill?

I applied without tax bill or bank statement showing dd from HMRC.
Afterwords I sent the documents with visa application ref no separately by post.
U can't wait till u get all documents.
