marrying for passport

Post by jamescartel » Thu Sep 27, 2012 9:53 am

Hi,
Hope you are keeping well.
I have an issue little bit and hope you can help me with that:

I got married in 2009. This was an arranged marriege. And i brought my wife to uk. Im British citizen and we have 2 kids. 2 and 3 years old. My wife cant speak english. only she can talk in a shop and few basic things. She got indefinete live to remain. But to get that she found someone in london and found college which she goes for 2 to 3 day course and then they pass her exam. And she got english certificate that way. Basically it was illegal. few month ago i found out from her friend that she dont love me and she marry me for passport. Then i start recording her voice while she talking to her friend and recording conversations with her mum. In some of conversations she says i hate him so much. I dont know why i marry him. But not long to go, as soon as i get my passport ill go.
So, basically i dont want her to get passport and i want to divorce her, and dont want her to stay in a UK and i want to keep my kids.
Is there anyway of doing this?
Thank you

Thank you for attention and hope to hear from you soon.

You say she has ILR (although it is not clear how this was possible?) and therefore this is not an immigration issue. Search for a Family Law firm in your location and take appropriate advice.

Thanks for your reply. If she have a ILR with fake certificate, and she saying im waiting for passport and then i will divorce. Is this not immigration issue?

No, that's all water under the bridge. Move on; don't marry strangers!

She has ILR, which "you" would have supported / sponsored at the time as her spouse - fully knowing that she was using some fake certificate. It was fine for you then that she uses a "bad quality certificate" to apply for ILR but now, because the relationship is sour, you wish to use the fact to take revenge!!!

If matters have gone sour since then and if you two are not getting along now for whatever reason, it is for you two figure out the future between the two of you.

If you wish to do what you state, be prepared to be accused of sponsoring a fraudulent application.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
