Stuck between "yellow" and "blue" certif

I just graduated and send my documents for a blue registration certificate for a skilled migrant worker but they take 4 to 6 months I do have an student yellow one with me still however. So I wanted to know what working rights do i currently hold as waiting for a document another 2-3 months just sitting around is less than ideal, but i couldn't find anything on the ukba site. Therefore if anyone can shed any light on the matter I would be very grateful.
