Do I need to include my UK born baby on our ILR application?

Post by nicgt » Fri Sep 28, 2012 2:00 pm

Hi,

My husband & I are applying for our ILR next week (previously here on UK ancestry visas). We weren't going to include our UK born daughter as a dependant as we understand she can apply for residency once we have our ILR.

However, we are travelling to Australia early November and want to know if she can re-enter the UK without any problems on her Australian passport? We don't think we have enough time to apply for her UK residency/passport before we leave.

Many thanks in advance,
Nic

For trouble free travel, best to include in ILR application.
