Tier 1 PSW Dependent

Post by rvluna » Sun Sep 30, 2012 1:12 pm

Hi,

Could I please ask for help with regards to the following questions given by the Online Application form:

****questions****
Section 6 - Employment and Finances

Are you unemployed‚ employed‚ or self-employed?

Do you receive income from any other sources‚ including friends or family?

Do you have savings‚ properties or other income‚ for example‚ from stocks and shares?

How much of your monthly income is used to support your family members?

How much do you spend each month on living costs?

You stated that you receive income from other sources‚ including friends or family.

You stated that you have savings‚ property or income.

**** End****

For whom does this question apply? Is it for the dependent or the main applicant information should be put onto here?

Kind Regards,

Vluna

Hi sushdmehta,

Sorry for mis posting.

I just wanted to verify what is the meaning of these questions, this is from the online application form for a dependent of a Tier 1 PSW visa:

6.7 Have you ever been deported, removed or otherwise required
to leave any country, including the UK?
- on this question , it is clear to understand

6.8 Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain
in the UK in the last 10 years?
- but on this part, thus this question relate to 6.7 stated above. Cause from the form, there is another entry 6.4 stating almost the same question. please see below:
6.4 Have you been granted a visa for the UK in the last 10 years?

Can you please help clarify if the question on 6.8 is related to 6.7 or is it a separate question and you need to supply the Home Office Reference number which we couldn't find with the same format as the stated on question 6.8 and 6.7

Please help us clarify these concerns.

Kind Regards,

rvluna

6.8 and 6.4 are different questions capable of having different answers. You need to answer both.

Hi Greenie,

May I please ask where will we get the information on 6.8? As per applications we made before, we don't have a Home Office reference number indicated on the help link for this question. Example of reference. Lastname: Smith
Reference Number: S123456.

Will it be alright to put the Residence Permit number instead?#

Note that the question 6.7 previous to 6.8 stated if you have been deported from the UK. Could this 6.7 question relate to 6.8?

Kind Regards,

rvluna

6.8 and 6.7 are separate questions. If you don't know the reference then put not known. Any reference would appear on letters relating to the application.

thanks greenie!

We actually found some documents saying "Our Reference". But it does not state the same format as the help link provided. I think they haven't updated this, causing some concerns on applicants, not seeing this reference number. Is the "Our Reference" the same as the Home Office Reference number?

A home office reference comes in the format on the help text. This hasn't changed. A person should usually have only one home office ref but they will have a different reference for each application. (eg the case ID which usually appears on the biometric letter and is a set of digits with no letters eg 01902324 or the application reference which appears on t.the acknowledgment letter which usually starts with a few letters followed by a longer number e.g. PX00523769/001
Just put any reference you have.
