stuck Between Tier 1 and Tier 2 ... Help me guys

Hi there,

I was on PSW visa and currently working for a company from last 2 years. company wanted to sponsor me but they couldn't get the sponsorship license on time (before my visa expiry date) so I have applied for Tier 1 visa about 2 weeks ago. My company done contract with me and I have really good chances to get Tier 1 visa (I think). Now today my Company got Tier 2 License and they said to me to withdraw my current application and go for Tier 2 application.


I don't know what to do now. this Job is important for me but it will make me restricted.

any idea, will highly appropriated.

You will be similarly restricted with T1 (Ent) as you are are only permitted to work in the business you have started or joined. And the additional burden of creating employment.

I think its better to go for Tier 2 Visa. I have applied for Tier 1 Visa myself, although getting visa is not difficult but it will be hard to get extension.

Starting a new business and creating jobs in UK's shrinking economy is a difficult task.

I have decided to go for Tier 2.

My Company ensure me that my Job is secure and permanent.

so I will withdraw my application tomorrow and go for tier 2.

Sorry, i need a help from you. you have mentioned you applied as Tier 1? What are the requirements? How i can apply? Because i'm in same situation-Psw nearly finished, working for a company-Company not yet registered as a sponsor? Thank you.
