ILR SET(O) PEO Glasgow: do i need more than 1 day?

Post by made1978 » Mon Oct 01, 2012 2:49 pm

Hi all, I live in London but can't seem to get a PEO appointment for anywhere in England or Cardiff. I did get one for Glasgow in Nov.

I'm planning to travel up in the morning, appointment at 2pm, then return on 6pm flight. I just realised if all goes well, I have the biometrics as well. Will this take more than an afternoon and will I possibly need to go back on the 2nd day or another date to pick up my documents? Or can I be safe to say everything should be done in 3-4hrs for me to catch my flight home?

Thank in advance for the advice and good luck everyone else.

They should post the documents back if the decision is not made the same day ...

Consider yourself lucky to get one :)

Just go well prepared, take every possible documents you think might be helpful for your application and everything should be ok. Just ask them when you apply if they would be able to send the documents to you by post and you can also give them an option of giving them a return special next day delivery envelope to cover the cost of delivery, but i have read somewhere on ukba website that if it takes longer, they will notify you over the phone and send you the docs by post.
