Biometrice appointment letter delay

Hello all

I submitted application for FLR (O) and received acknowledgement letter on 22 August 2012 but to date I have not received a biometric appointment letter. I have contacted UKBA several times but have been told on each occasion to wait as this is not unusual.

Is there anyone out there who is experiencing this problem?
