Citizenship Query

Post by crcnaidu » Tue Oct 02, 2012 11:58 am

Hello All,
Thanks to every one who guided me with my queries in past. I have received citizenship approval letter from UK border agency yesterday and received cermony invitation letter due in Nov 2012. My query is can I apply for my son and wife citizenship as British citizen dependents with approval letter received as they are eligible now or do I need to wait for cermony and passport? your help and advice is highly appreciated

Many thanks

You are not a British Citizen until you attend the ceremony.

Naturalisation certificate is enough to support wife's / son's application. There is no need to wait for the passport. I suggest they use NCS as you will need your certificate to apply for a passport (if you wish).
