Tier1 G Ext. dependant application BRP Letter not received

Hello,
I submitted my application (tire 1 Dependent Extension) THOUGH POST on 13 Sept 2012 and have not received any acknowledgemnet letter/ Biometrics letter or anything from UKBA as on 2 Oct 2012. The fees has been charged from my account on 17 SEpt 2012.
How long does it take to receive any acknowledgement? I am a bit worried as nothing has arrived yet. What happens if it get lost in post? Would they send me reminder?
I hope they would not simply reject my application!

Wait patiently.
Yes, they will send you reminders if you do not respond to their initial letter(s) directing you to submit biometrics.
