SET M application at Croydon PEO

Post by skr27 » Tue Oct 02, 2012 1:53 pm

Hello everyone
My wife applied for ILR using SET (M) as a spouse of british citizen at Croydon PEO. however, they asked her to submit my passport and a cover letter by post to Liverpool which we promptly posted. its been nearly a month since she applied at PEO but heard nothing from UKBA so far. can someone advance how long would normally take in case UKBA ask for further documents after application at PEO and is there any number she can call to find out the status of her application?

Unfortunately her application is likely to join the postal application queue.

Thank you Casa for your response. its very unfair of them to take a lot more money then push it back to normal queue. Any chance I could get my passport back quickly or will that mean cancelling my wife's application. I have a potential travel coming up.
