English language test for Tier 1 extension

Post by tbnag » Tue Oct 02, 2012 3:18 pm

Hi Experts,

I have come across the below link which says that English language test is mandatory for Tier 1 & Tier2 applications after 6th April 2012.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -2-5-1-elr

I came initially to UK on Tier 1(General) visa and going for 1st extension on December 2012. I have shown 'degree taught in English' certificate during my initial Tier 1(General) application.

So, does the rule as per the above link apply to me? and if yes, then do i need to write the English language test?

Regards,
Nag
