What documents come along with the Tier 2 VISA?

Hi

I had applied for a Tier 2 general work permit and my application was collected by a relative of mine today from the center. He tells me that besides the supporting documents I had provided, there is no other document. He went through my passport and told me that there is a VISA stuck on my passport which says Tier 2 General Migrant with a validity of only one month!!

Can someone please help me here: What documents does one get with an approved VISA?

The visa vignette is all that is provided. I would be worried about the validity of only one month; why do you think that is?
