Uk Tourist Visa - Filling up Form guidance

Post by brg » Wed Oct 03, 2012 9:48 pm

Hi,

Am planning solo travel. fully employed, single female from India, all expenses borne by myself:

Accomodation : hostel for 10 nights stay. Have a friend in UK. Will meet up during my stay sometime. Do i need invitational letter if he isnt sponsoring anything for me.

Live with my grandmom , house expenses borne by my father. Hence no financial responsibilities. house / utility bills/ society property taxes all in her name. How do i answer the Cost of living question in the form? and do i disclose and support all of the above?

Thanks

Anyone have a clue if i need to mention on the form that i have friends in UK? It also asks if i intend to visit. I'm confused if i specify 'yes' would i need a invite letter and his immigration status proof..?the guidance notes mentioned this is the proof i should submit.
