Passport Return -Child born in UK

Hello,
I am on Tier2 Visa and applied for my Child's Visa,Child born here in UK.
The Biometric for my Child is completed on 1st Oct.
While applying for my Child's visa I have submited by Passport as well.

Now I need my passport back as I need to make for Business Travel.
Is it possible to ask back my passport while UKBA can take their time to process my child's visa?

Any suggestions !

Get in touch with UKBA to enquire where and to whom such a request is to be addressed and posted.
Then write the request and post it to the person and address that you have obtained from above.
And hope that your passport is returned before your intended date of travel.
