Tier 4 Dependant extension

My self and my dependannt came her on Tier 4 General and Tier 4 dependant Visas (for my MSc in HEI) one year ago. Our visas expire in January 2013 and we are planning to extend the visas by a further 4 months due to me taking an internship.

My dependant has the right to work in the UK currently. My questiion is, when we extend our visas in January 2013, will my dependant still be allowed to work (remember, we are extending our vissais for a period of 4 months) during the 4 month extension?

So your university are issuing you a further CAS in order to complete the course?
