Discretionary Leave granted on Oct 2012

Post by powermatrix » Fri Oct 05, 2012 1:31 pm

Hi

I have had 3 years discretionary leave which expired on April 2012 then I have applied SET (M) on the basis of marriage, but I received my extension of another 3 years of discretionary leave. Will I be able to apply for ILR by end of this 3 year discretionary leave or is the changes of 9 July will affect anything?.

Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, just want to clarify that I will not be having any problem when I apply for ILR end of the discretionary leave which will expire on September 2015, is that correct?, Please bear with me as I m new to discussion board, bit struggling to understand the etiquette. Thank you

Don't worry, you won't have any problem in applying for settlement after you have completed 6 years under discretionary leave.
