EEA Residece card and Student finance

hi i am 20 year of age and dependent on father who is a german national and working in uk for two years.I have applied for eea residence card and also for admission in ug programme in a university..I have also contacted the student finance european section and they have told me that i can get student loan and grant on the basis of eea migrant worker also the three year period also does not required..i am new in uk and applied residence soon as i arrived here..i want to know that is it possible to get student loan without the three year residency in uk...i am not satisfied ..can someone share his/her personal experience

I was in pakistan but my father was in germany for ten years and now he is in uk for last two year..

They are incorrect. To be entitled to student support you need to have be living in the Eea for the three years prior to the start of the course. See here.

Tuition Fees
To qualify for a Tuition Fee Loan the following needs to apply:
you’re an EU national, or the family member of an EU national
your course qualifies – see the section ‘Does your course qualify’


For additional help such as maintenance grant and maintenance loan you should be

you’re a national from an EEA country or Switzerland
you’re working in the UK
you’ve lived in the EEA or Switzerland for three years or more before your course starts
you’ll be living in the UK on the first day of the academic year in which your course starts
your course qualifies
You may also qualify if you’re a family member of an EEA or Swiss migrant worker.
