Overspeeding on Average Speed Check cameras

Post by saeedusman » Fri Oct 05, 2012 11:16 pm

I have got the letter from Police for overspeeding on average speed check cameras.

They asked for the driver (myself) and said that it might be three points or/and £60 fine or if they want, they can offer speed awareness course, and if offered then I have to bear the cost of course and will get no points or fine.

Now they have offered me the course which I have booked for £84 and is just class room based training and awareness scheme. I will complete the course before applying for visa. And the I have been told that after course completion, the police record will be updated and I will not be getting any points or paying any fine.

I was just worried if it will be counted as criminal offence when I apply for Tier-1 Entrepreneur visa in coming months?

Do I need to mention this on the forms (E1-Criminal offence) when applying?

Thanks.

Its not an offence, not even a civil offence and you don't need to mention it anywhere.

Regards
