10 years and ILR with more than 6 months absence

Hi, every body... I am going to apply my ILR next year under 10 years track.BUT I spent 7 months out of UK three years ago in one trip. According the immigration ILR rules, any stay which is more than 6 months breaks the 10 years route. Is any body can give me some useful advise. Is there any body with the same previous experience.... Thanks very much for your nice comments... regards
