ILR Absent days Calculation

Dear Respected Forum Members and Moderators,

I have a very simple query regarding the calculation of the days which we are absent from UK.

The question is as follows:

"If for e.g. I exit UK on 4th June and return back on 7th June, like sometime in the evening on 7th June, then how many days are marked as absent from UK? Will that be 3 days or 4 days?

Please share your thought on this.

YOu were present in UK on Both 4th and 7th June . So the absent days are only 5th and 6th. Hence 2 days !
