Biometrics letter

Hi Everyone
I have applied through an advisor on 10 year basis. My acknowledgment letter was sent to the advisor, but I just wanted to know whether my Biometric Letter will be sent to me directly or will it be sent to the advisor as well. As someone told me that the biometric letter will be sent to me directly while a copy of the letter will be sent to the advisor, is this correct?
